Quick Tip - How to Use Photoshop's Perspective Tool
Here is a small tutorial that will help to explain how the perspective tool works in photoshop.
What exactly is "perspective"?
Well, have you ever laid down in the shade of a tall building? When you look up, it appears as if the building is leaning towards you...giving you the feeling that it might topple over onto you?
That's perpective. At least in this case it is. You will see this same effect in your photos if you are taking images of sky scrapers while looking upwards - or trees or anything else that starts at the ground and moves upwards.
Photoshop has a nifty little tool that can help you correct the perspective problems - not in all cases, of course. Extreme cases usually can't be completely corrected, but it's a worthwhile tool to get familiar with.
