2010 Folding Calendar Template With Holidays - Photoshop Template

Here's a new  2010 calendar template I created for my Wedding Photography blog, and though this is useful for wedding favors, it can also be a good way to advertise your business, or to stick into an invoice or even a payment you're sending. For home based businesses, every little bit of inexpensive advertising can give visibility and garner interest in your work and business.

These calendars print at 5" X 7" and are folded in half, so the finished size is 3.5" in width and 5" high - just under the size of your average passport. Small enough to stick in a pocket or wallet, and handy enough to be useful since it carries the entire year in one small space, with a listing of holidays on the back.

The template itself comes in two parts - a psd file with layers for the inside, and one for the outside. On the right side of the inner section you'll see a blue box that can be changed to any colour you like. Click on the layer containing the blue box, select a colour from your colours palette, choose "select" from photoshop's menu and click the blue blox, then select the bucket tool and fill the blue space with whatever colour you've chosen by clicking in the selected area.

The text layer for this area can be edited to contain your business name and address, along with an email or website address. Or you can remove it altogether.

There's also a small blue frame that you can move (different layer) around to mark an important date, or you can leave out by simply turning off the visibility of the layer (click the eye icon of the blue frame layer).

The outside template has a layer for placing your image into - simply remove the image that's in the template and replace it with your own.
