A good number of these texture files have been tested in software like Bryce and Daz3D (I use both of those in some of my work), Blender and a few have been used in SketchUp and in Paint Shop Pro (newer extended versions have the animation package). Most have been created using stock photos, photoshop and corel paint. A few have been blended with Apophysis creations. Many of these textures can be used in web page backgrounds or other designs, such as e-greeting cards and printable greeting cards; scrap-booking pages and collages - why not grab some of these free images and give them a try. Making your own greeting cards seems to be getting more popular as the price of cards increase. Along with some of these great textures, check out our photoshop frames for frames you can resize to use as greeting card edges. Also have a look in the free stock photos, the png files and the graphics sections - many useful images are available in those sections, and some of those may contain textures you can extract to use in game creation software. Most game software only requires a small piece to create a texture from.
