Textures are a great way to add interest to your images - add them as layered backgrounds, use them to create some awesome text effects, turn them into pattern files for photoshop, use them to created textured borders and frames, or use them in collages. Some of these textures will make perfect backgrounds for things like greeting cards and gift tags, scrapbooking pages and photo mattes - the uses are endless. Put your own creativity to work!

To download the free texture files for use as graphic backgrounds or 3D rendering files, click the thumbnail. The full size download opens in a new window. Right click, and select "save as" to save the file to your own computer. Most of these files have been created in photoshop, though you'll find some photographic textures here as well.
