There are a large variety of 3D, graphic and photographic textures available here suitable for all needs. Some are small and seamless, some are large file, high resolution images. You'll find painted textures, graphic textures and photo textures scattered throughout the different texture categories. You can also check our free stock photo categories for other useful texture images.

These can be used in 3d rendering programs, game engines, as backgrounds, in collage work or other graphic arts and design. Separated into categories to help you find just what you are looking for. If you can't find something you need, please ask. I'm happy to try and create or photograph whatever you want. If you haven't used any 3D or graphic editing or animation programs, you might want to try some of the free ones available - some are quite good to learn with. Some suggestions would be Blender (open source software), Daz Studio (free version), SketchUp (free version from Google), Art of Illusion (open source). There are many other free 3D software programs available for the beginner to start out on. You can purchase software for 3D once you have gained experience and want more functionality than that offered by freeware - some of those include Poser, Maya 3D, 3ds Max, Bryce and many others. Most of the textures you'll find here will work with most of these types of software.

ABSTRACT

The abstract category is one of the largest, containing full size images for backgrounds and small seamless tiles. There is a large variety of design, colour and style available here.
