Two of my favourite seasons of the year: spring and summer. Mostly because they’re warm, and hot and because both seasons mean a profusion of trees and flowers. I love being outside in almost any season, except winter. Not a big fan of cold or snow, and the older I get, the worse it gets. On the other hand, I’m happy when the sun is shining and hot enough to burn (don’t forget to wear protection) and my hands are covered with dirt and grime from the garden. Given the opportunity, whiling away a day picking away at the weeds and deadheading finished plants; or digging up and separating overgrown ones is what I enjoy spending my free time doing. Well, and photographing the summer and spring landscapes around our area. I consider myself pretty lucky to live in such a beautiful area with pretty waterfront parks, lovely waterfront homes and being surrounded by wide countryside vistas. All the fodder for feeding my camera habit!
